Changbutaryeong

Changbutaryeong is one of representative folk songs of Gyeonggi province. Originally, it was a shaman song of the northern area of the Han River, but it gradually transformed into a folk song. The word changbu is another name for a professional entertainer, gwangdae. This is a kind of prayer song to evoke changbu, the god of gwangdae, for blessing.
