17hyeoneulwihan Danmori (Danmori for the Seventeen-Stringed Gayageum)

Composed by Gim Yeong-jae, this is a solo piece for the seventeen-stringed gayageum, an adaptation from the traditional gayageum(twelve stringed zither). New techniques not seen in traditional performance predominate in this piece. The introductory section is followed by four sections, and various themes are performed with the rhythmic patterns of farmers` band music.
