The Biggest Festive Day of Korean people, Chuseok Grows as Asian Festival! You are invited to NCKTPA''s seasonal performance full with various things to see and mirth.

Welcoming the First Moon - Daepungryu / Magic demonstration with Gugak

"Daepung-ryu" in harmony with merry rhythm and lilting sound of wind instruments brilliantly heralds the beginning of the performance. "Magic demonstration accompanied with Gugak" presents fantastic shows with a variety of magic such as Arirang byeon-gum and fire magic in harmony with the tunes of Gugak.

Harmony - Vietnamese folk songs / Chinese folk songs / Arirang medley

Chuseok in Vietnam and China has been transferred down differently with that in Korea, even though they seem to be similar. Vietnamese people keep it as a festive day for children, and in China there remains custom that people make a present of wolbyeong, Chinese traditional cake symbolizing a full moon. Affluent autumn. Although the countries and cultures are different with each other, it expresses that they become one with folks songs and music from the countries, celebrating the festive day.

Dalnori - Pan-gut / Ganggang-sullae

In Dalnori that will be performed in an open space, the enthusiastic shaman ritual and the Korean circle dance famous folk play in Chuseok shall be presented.It shall be a big scene in which the spectators join to be excited under the satisfactory moonlights of the Harvest Moon festival.

Events in which the audience participate - Folk plays / Experiencing in Farming

The events for the audience to be held at the outdoor space from 4:00 pm include "folk play" and "experiencing in farming". Together with the conventional plays such as Tuho (throwing arrows into a cylinder), Seung-gyeongdo, Jegi-chagi, the experiencing in farming with threshing machine, mortar, winnow, hand mill will give urban children opportunities to feel a unique taste of traditional culture.
